Founded in 2010, <\/span>Radical Plans <\/b><\/span><\/span>is a production and post-production company based in Florence, Italy. The company produces short films, feature films, documentaries, VR, and digital media.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The company\u2019s first film was \u201cTangled Up in Blue\u201d (2009) directed by Haider Rashid, winner of numerous international awards. Radical Plans\u2019 second production was the musical documentary \u201cSilence: All Roads Lead to Music\u201d (2011), which was praised by international critics, including the famous film magazine Variety which called it \u201cmasterfully constructed\u201d. The company\u2019s third film, \u201cIt\u2019s About to Rain\u201d (2013) was selected by various major international festivals including Sydney, Sao Paulo and Dubai as well as received a Golden Ciak (Ciak d\u2019Oro) nomination. In 2013 Radical Plans produced the short film \u201cThe Deep\u201d, winner of the Special Jury Prize at the Dubai International Film Festival and nominated for the 2014 Italian Golden Globes for Best Short Film.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In 2014, Radical Plans opened Tuscany\u2019s first post-production studio in Florence, with a hybrid theatre for sound mixing and color grading. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The company was also among the first in Italy to produce 360-degree video content for virtual reality use. In 2015 Radical Plans produced \u201cStreet Opera\u201d, a documentary on Italian rap, featuring rappers Clementino, Gu\u00e9 Pequeno, Danno and Tormento, selected at the Rome Film Festival and winner of the Special Award of the 2016 Silver Ribbons (Nastri d\u2019Argento), Europe\u2019s oldest film awards. In 2016 the company produced the documentary \u201cNo Borders\u201d, the first Italian VR film, winner of the MigrArti Prize at the Venice International Film Festival of the Special Mention at the 2017 Silver Ribbons. The company\u2019s latest production \u201cEuropa\u201d, an Italy-Iraq-US co-production directed by Haider Rashid is currently in post-production and received the OSN Award at the Cairo International Film Festival\u2019s Cairo Film Connection.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To this day, Radical Plans has produced advertising campaigns and branded content for companies such as TIM, Ferrero, Sony Music, RDS, Sky, TV2000, Antica Erboristeria, Arena <\/span><\/span>di Verona and the Region of Tuscany.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
